Instead of making an actual comic strip, I have gone ahead and rendered a couple of astounding large comic-strip-related images.
The first is what I would call the "cover" of the comic book, if it actually was a comic book. The Cover Page. You’ll notice the official title of the series is now Screwy. Named partly for the first strip I did in the series and partly for dictionary.com’s definition of the word screwy:
1. Eccentric; crazy.
2. Ludicrously odd, unlikely, or inappropriate.
Secondly, this is like something you might see kicking off a chapter in the theoretical comic book. Womankind.
The word of the week just so happens to be facility. Part of the greatness of "facility" is derived from the best multiplayer level in the N64 game Goldeneye, named facility. In one area of the level there is a bathroom, something that is often referred to as a facility. I'm not sure if this was done intentionally, but the paradox that this creates is so astounding, so mind-boggling, that "facility" couldn't not be the word of the week. That's not all that's great about "facility" though! Facility is a word that can be used to describe a bathroom, sure, but the superior use of the word is in describing any building used for science. In particular, any building used to house science with lots of cool pipes and pulsating red lights. Alternating black and yellow stripes on corners, the WHIMIS symbol for biohazardous infectious material stuck everywhere, and zombies make great additions to "facilities" also.
