A real update! Not one of those phony "I'm going to update" things, an actual real live one! Huzzah! Anyways, now for the rant: . This is in honor of the new site, which has reached puberty and such. Yadda yadda yadda. Congratulations! Maybe one day, Newbs and the writers will become bigger than Jesus, and in case that offends any random readers, I mean Jesus (Hey-Zeus) that wacky Mexican guy in Mexico.

Congratulations to me, Shufflingdead.com, or Newbs’ Knowledge of Life, the Universe and Everything, or whatever the hell it’s called has over gone a complete update. By my reckoning this is version 8, and just the second time I’ve ever completely redone all the code from scratch. I know the beveled edge things aren’t all that pretty, and that we’re missing a real logo and stuff, but things are still looking damn nice.
In the end though, nobody gives a damn how it looks, they just want something to read. Well, I can tell you I’ve broken out the old whips and am currently organizing a chain gang of writers. There’ll be new stuff on here every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday for you, that’s a fucking promise.

Right now I’m going to leave the actual content here up to apocalyptic_girl as I have taken on the massive task of rebuilding the entire site.
I know it looks somewhat screwed up right now thanks to DMUSER’s shenanigans, and it’ll probably look about this screwed up for awhile. I’m sure we’ll get a slightly less ugly ad placeholder but that’s all I can promise.
So what’s a hungry websurfer such as yourself to do? Well, you can visit the forum and make fifty posts a day. It’s not just any forum, it’s the greatest forum that will ever be and you know it. You owe it to yourself to post as much as you possibly can on the most enlightening and informative place on the whole of the internet.

Ok. I'm taking out the adbar. In a previous news item Newbs said that the site was going through puberty. That means it has to get uglier before it gets better. The adbar had to go. For our 1 reader, give me a couple of hours to get something in its place.

The site is starting to look better. Hopefully Newbs will get around to updating at some point. The news updater is up as you can (hopefully) all see. Next on the list is to completely revamp the site look and feel. And to put in something other than a blank white page behind the news.
