Commander's Log -- Stardate -316984.1
I have recently been perusing the Star Trek universe. Most specifically Enterprise.
Now having originally seen about half of the first season when it started in back in 2001, and just coming off of Voyager and DS9, I realized it for what it was -- Unmitigated Shit. That's with capitals.
But, since Newbs recently was all aquiver about T'Pol and her sexy ass, and [mostly] because I had nothing else to watch, I started up on Season 1, and have been watching 4-6 episodes a day since then.
It's still unmitigated shit. But not as bad as it was above. The writing actually gets marginally better near the end of Season 1, and quite a bit better by the middle of Season 2. Hopefully it'll be good by Season 3, and spectacular by Season 4...just in time for it to be cancelled.
Such is life.
